The course studies women’s healthcare needs related to menopause based on evidence-based medicine and theories within gender studies. Furthermore, the course critically reviews and evaluates treatment recommendations for menopause-related symptoms such as hormonal treatment and non-pharmacological strategies. The course integrates norm-critical perspectives on care and health during and after menopause, with special consideration of intersectional aspects such as gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and culture
Of Welfare issued Swedish nursing and Bachelor‘s degree in health sciences or nursing, and professional activities as a registered nurse at least 12 months full-time service
