Kursen innehåller en översikt av innovationsbegreppet och innovationsmodeller, innovation i den byggda miljön, den byggda miljöns karaktärsdrag och dess påverkan på innovation, olika typer av innovationer i den byggda miljön och dess påverkan på innovation, olika typer av innovationer och dess spridning, för- ändringsarbete och samspelet mellan innehåll, kontext och process, förändringsmodeller samt hinder och förutsättningar för innovation och förändringsarbete i den byggda miljön. The course includes an overview of the innovation concept and innovation models, Innovation in the construction and built environment sector, contextual characteristics of construction and the built environment and its impact on innovation, Different types of innovations in construction and the built environment and their diffusion, Change management and the interplay between content, process and context, Change management models and implications and success factors for innovation and change management in the construction and built environment context.

Entry requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering, Building Technology, Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent. Including courses of 7.5 credits within the field of Building Technology, and 7.5 credits Project Management. The degree must be equivalent to a Swedish högskoleingenjörsexamen and must have been awarded from an internationally recognised university. English 6 or English level 2. Exemption of the requirement in Swedish is granted for those with foreign grades.
