Kursen ger kunskaper om vad som kan anses vara psykisk hälsa och ohälsa hos äldre. Vanligt förekommande psykiska sjukdomar i åldrandet behandlas i kursen samt utredning och behandling. Bemötande och förhållningssätt till äldre personer med psykisk ohälsa utgör en betydande del av kursen.
Entry requirements
Grundläggande behörighet samt minst ett års arbete inom psykiatri eller vård och omsorg av äldre, eller motsvarande kunskaper.
