In this programme, students work with the conceptualization and realization of products from conceiving the first product ideas to specifying the manufacturing. Often, actual products are used as examples such as automotive components, sheet metal and plastic parts and more. Students needs to choose between two different tracks. The first, called DESIGN, is ideal for students who are interested in user experience and product interaction, aesthetics and appearance of products, and have an artistic talent and interest in learning the design tools. The second track PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT address the process of designing and managing all data around the products. This track is also more focused on engineering analysis.

Entry requirements

The applicant must hold the minimum of a bachelor’s degree (i.e the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university) with at least 90 credits in mechanical engineering, civil engineering (with relevant courses in construction), or equivalent. The bachelor’s degree should comprise a minimum of 15 credits in mathematics, 7.5 credits in CAD and 15 credits of independent, theoretical based work, i.e. a thesis or the equivalent. Proof of English proficiency is required.
