The course consists of a work placement at a company. Duties vary depending on the nature of the business. Students are expected to participate in the daily business, to perform regular duties and to have time for their own studies. Before starting, an individual work plan must be drawn up by the examiner, field supervisor and the student in conjunction. The plan should specify duties to be performed and examined. The plan must be designed to ensure that the student has the opportunity to fulfil learning requirements. On at least two occasions, a university teacher supervises the work. On such occasions, the students is expected to present his work-in-progress and the work plan may be revised if necessary. The work placement period can be divided into two four-week periods of full-time work if so specified in the work plan. In total, the course requires 8 weeks of full-time work placement.
Courses totalling 90 ECTS credits on the Construction and Building Engineering programme including completed basic courses in the chosen main field of study.
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
