Are you looking for challenges like mathematical physics, quantum field theory and general relativity, and curious what these theories might be useful for in practice? With a Master in Theoretical Physics, you get broad competence where knowledge about fundamental physics can be used in many different areas. You can participate in the development of new technological applications. The focus of this program is the connection between basic physics like quantum field theory and emergent areas like quantum materials, that are used today for finding new applications like molecular electronics, new kinds of solar cells or fuel cells, or quantum computers.
Entry requirements
Degree of Bachelor in Physics, or equivalent where at least 90 credits in physics are included. Upper secondary level English B/English 6 or equivalent.
