This course is the first course in mathematics and mathematics teaching in the Secondary Education Programme. The course includes basic mathematics, problem solving, algebra, calculus, and didactical treatment of the corresponding content in school mathematics.

General admission requirements plus upper secondary level English 6, Social Science 1b or 1a1 + 1a2, Mathematics 4, or English B, Social science A, Mathematics D, or equivalent
