## About the programme The programme allows you to develop a scientific approach and gain a solid theoretical understanding of Public Health Sciences, with a focus on your chosen specialisation of Public Health Epidemiology or Health Promotion and Prevention. Both tracks include advanced studies in epidemiology and biostatistics as well as methods for outcome evaluation of interventions. Common courses also cover concepts and theories in Public Health Sciences, qualitative approaches and project management. ### Public Health Epidemiology track With its focus on applied epidemiology, the Public Health Epidemiology track will give you the tools you need to describe, analyse and reflect upon a variety of public health issues and to critically review epidemiological studies. ### Health Promotion and Prevention track In the Health Promotion and Prevention track, you will focus on applied methods for health promotion and disease prevention action, developing the skills to plan, develop, implement and evaluate health interventions at both individual and structural levels.

Entry requirements

A Bachelors degree or a professional degree equivalent to a Swedish Bachelors degree of at least 180 credits in public health science, healthcare or other relevant social sciences subject area. And proficiency in English equivalent to English B/English 6.
