The course is based on the knowledge and language skills the students have already acquired and develops these further. Students implement and discuss practical classroom exercises together with theories for second language development and policy documents. The course also explores the use of storybooks and picture books for the development of English proficiency in young students. In connection with this approach, a variety of texts are discussed (in English) in relation to theories of second language learning and the syllabus. Components in the assessment of learning are included.

Entry requirements

General entry requirements and a minimum of 30 credits within a Teacher Education of which a minimum of 7,5 credits in English, in addition, is required English 6 or equivalent.
