The focus of the course is on the economic analysis of health and healthcare. It addresses perspectives, concepts and theories of health economics. Methods for evaluating healthcare interventions are examined in detail. As the course does not require prior knowledge of economics, students are provided with an introduction to economic concepts of relevance to the course.
Entry requirements
Result equivalent to 135 credits with at least 75 credits in health sciences or health sciences courses in medicin, humanities, economy or social sciences and verified knowledge of English corresponding to the course English 6 in the Swedish upper secondary school or equivalent.
