I kursen studeras grundläggande teori, begrepp och metoder inom spelteori. Kursen omfattar studier av kombinatorisk och klassisk spelteori med olika tillämpningar. Olika typer av spel behandlas, såsom nollsummespel, symmetriska spel och spel med fullständig information. Under kursen berörs spelträd, sprague-grundy teori, linjär programmering, jämviktstrategier, Nash-jämvikt, maximin och minimax strategier samt mixade strategier.
