<p>In the course, the student will acquire advanced knowledge of neurobiology, considering ethical and gender issues and obtaining an overview of methods available for studies of the nervous system. The course centres on current research topics within the vast area of neurobiology, it considers ethical issues and it offers an overview of methods available for studies of the nervous system.</p>

Entry requirements

165 ECTS credits passed in a major subject area with relevance for biomedical sciences, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen with a total of at least 90ECTS credits in some of the following subjects: -biochemistry -cell biology -molecular biology -genetics -gene technology -microbiology -physiology -immunology -histology -anatomy -pathology or similar. English corresponding to the level of English in Swedish upper secondary education (Engelska 6 or Engelska nivå 2). Exemption from Swedish.
