<p>This course deals with children’s rights in social work socio-legal research, with a particular focus on methodologies in the study of rights. </p><p>During the course we will deal with theoretical perspectives of children, childhood and children’s position(-s) in society. We will also problematise concepts such as equaliberty, discrimination, social rights, rule of law, rights to protection and participation, and the best interests of the child. </p><p>The course furthermore includes studies of practice-oriented work to critically review and/or realise children’s rights in various settings.</p>
