It examines the implications of climate change for both nature and society, and discusses various strategies aimed at addressing these challenges.</p><p>Throughout the course, we will analyze both historical and contemporary scenarios of climate change. You will also learn to critically examine the complex factors, both natural and human, influencing the climate and the various strategies used to minimize risks, such as emission reduction.</p><h3>For aspiring changemakers</h3><p>In an era where climate issues take center stage, an advanced understanding of climate science and climate change provides you with a robust foundation for further studies, research, or advocacy initiatives within various sectors.</p><h3>Teaching methods&nbsp;</h3><p>The course is entirely conducted in English and offers diverse teaching methods including lectures, laboratories, seminars, and written assignments.&nbsp;</p>

Entry requirements

150 credits of which 90 credits with progressive deepening within one main field of study. 15 credits within Environmental Science, Sustainable Development or the equivalent. English corresponding to the level of English in Swedish upper secondary education (Engelska 6 or Engelska nivå 2). Exemption from Swedish
