<p>Filmer som utspelas i det förflutna (âhistoriska filmerâ) Ă€r nĂ„gra av vĂ„r tids mest intressanta och inflytelserika historiska skildringar. Kursen syftar till att ge studenterna förstĂ„else för hur det förflutna konstrueras pĂ„ film. Kursen fokuserar pĂ„ nĂ„gra centrala historiska teman och pĂ„ utmaningarna och möjligheterna det inneburit för filmskapare att skildra dem pĂ„ film. Kursen uppmĂ€rksammar ocksĂ„ hur historiska filmer prĂ€glats av den samtid nĂ€r filmen skapades. </p>
