The exploitation of natural resources has severe environmental implications, such as the emission of hazardous substances and resource scarcity. This programme deals with the different management strategies which can be adopted to develop products, services, technical systems, and organisations that contribute to increased resource efficiency and sustainability. Our aim is to train future engineers who can contribute to a societal transition towards this end. You will learn how to combine a multidisciplinary system perspective with skills in modern environmental and energy engineering. With this proactive and holistic approach, environmental problems can often be significantly limited or prevented, without jeopardising human wellbeing.
A bachelor's degree equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen with a major in an engineering subject. 30 ECTS credits in mathematics/applied mathematics and/or application of mathematics relevant for the programme. English corresponding to the level of English in Swedish upper secondary education (Engelska 6 or Engelska nivå 2). Exemption from Swedish.
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
