This course gives you a deeper insight into what archaeological fieldwork involves, from planning through the implementation of an archaeological excavation to indoor work and report writing. Aspects that are considered are methodology, reflexivity and approaches in the field. The course includes fieldwork.
Entry requirements
Archaeology 90 credits including an independent project of at least 15 credits, or the equivalent.
