The focus of the course is to provide the student with abilities of performing high-quality academic research. The course involves specifying and undertaking a thesis project where a master thesis will be written and defended, and interactive methodology seminars. The students will become familiar with the main research methodologies in international business research. Apart from being equipped with abilities to read and evaluate academic research building on broad spectra of methodologies, the students are equipped with in-depth knowledge of specific methodology useful for their master thesis project. This knowledge is gained through the master thesis project which often relates to real-life strategic challenges in international business. Thus, in the master thesis project, the students will be provided with the opportunity to, in teams, coached by experienced researchers, perform in-depth academic research on real-life and relevant topics in the international business world.
General entry requirements for second-cycle studies, plus specific entry requirements: At least 90 credits Business Administration at level G1N, G1F, G2F and G2E, Business Administration 30 credits A1N, Methodology 7,5 credtis, English B/English 6, or the equivalent.
