Children's Literature. An Introduction

The course deals with introductory children’s and young people’s literature and history, with emphasis on the 20th century and contemporary literature. Models for literary analysis and literary terminology will be introduced, in particular that which is used within the field of children’s literature. The course also includes careful study of a number of texts.
