Kursen ger grundläggande kunskaper i allmän patologi och därmed kunskaper på molekylär och cellulär om inflammatoriska processer, utveckling av cancer, åldrandeprocesser samt autoimmuna sjukdomar. Vidare tränas du i att identifiera inflammation och cancerutveckling i olika organ i histologiska preparat samt i histologiska, immunhistokemiska och cytologiska tekniker.

Entry requirements

General Chemistry 7.5 credits, Fundamental Laboratory Methodology 7.5 credits, Biochemistry 7.5 credits, Biochemical Laboratory Methodology 7.5 credits, Cell and Molecular Biology with Laboratory Methodology 15 credits, Anatomy and Physiology with Fundamental Clinical Laboratory Methodology 15 credits and Clinical Immunology with Laboratory Methodology 7.5 credits, or equivalent.
