This module covers different aspects of development theory. Issues that will be discussed are what type of economical and political theories that have determined and affected our concept of development itself. In other words how we view development in contrast to underdevelopment, and how the field of international development cooperation have evolved during the years.

Entry requirements

General entry requirements for studies at second cycle level and specific entry requirements: First cycle education, at least 120 ECTS credits in Peace and Development Studies or for the course other relevant subject within Social Sciences, Humanities or Economics English 6 or English level 2
