Kursen syftar till att studenten utvecklar praktiska färdigheter i avancerade kliniska tekniker för ögonundersökning, inklusive tekniker som kräver användning av diagnostiska läkemedel. Studenten erhåller dessutom kunskap om att undersöka och fatta kliniska beslut om ögon och synproblem baserade på komplex och ofta ofullständig information. Särskild vikt läggs på när och hur patienter remitteras vidare.
Entry requirements
- A Bachelor's degree of at least 180 credits in Optometry or a Specialist Nursing Degree with a focus on ophthalmic care (including a 15-credit independent project), as well as 15 credits in optometry at the advanced level. - Swedish 3 or Swedish level 3 - English 6 or English level 2 or equivalent is required.
