This course is for you who wishes to gain greater knowledge about concepts and theories within global health. The course contains five themes, prepares you for PhD studies and has an epidemiological approach. We analyze global health based on a number of different perspectives such as diversity, power, gender and ethics and train our ability to critically discuss important issues on the basis of theories and research findings and often based on examples concerning women’s health. The teaching is totally internet-based and is mainly founded on the student’s own work with help from recorded lectures, study materials and assignments to generate more in-depth learning. Entry requirements

Elementary qualification for studies at advanced level and specific qualification: English B/English 6, or equivalent.
