I kursen möter du ett urval av musiktraditioner inom de tre områdena och du övas i att på ett kritiskt sätt förhålla dig till genregränser och traditioner. Särskild uppmärksamhet riktas mot centrala stildrag, musikspridning och idéer om genus och etnicitet satt i relation till den musik som tas upp.
