Financial and insurance mathematics have been merging for many years. Risk analysis for portfolios is a focus of both fields e.g. due to climate change and indications of the financial crisis. The course introduces the main models and techniques. Both life and non life insurance are covered with an emphasis on non life insurance.
Entry requirements
4MA501 Foundations of probability, 7.5 credits, or equivalent.
