In today's multimedia landscape, the choice of media profoundly shapes the conveyed message. This course explores intermediality as a vital form of media literacy, focusing on the dynamic transformations between various art forms and the synthesis of resources for meaning creation. Rooted in historical context, the course introduces intermedial and multimodal theories, demonstrating their relevance in understanding diverse media like musicalized fiction, film adaptations, and comics.
1-90 credits in a subject within the Humanities or Social sciences including a degree project of at least 15 credits, or equivalently.
