In an increasingly interconnected world, the ability to negotiate across cultures and organisational boundaries is a highly valued skill. This course provides you with the knowledge and practical tools needed to understand, plan and conduct successful negotiations in an international context. You will explore key theories and concepts within the field of negotiation and develop an understanding of how culture, communication, power, ethics and different negotiating styles influence the negotiation process. Through practical exercises and realistic scenarios, you will strengthen your ability to analyse complex negotiation situations and identify strategies that create value for all parties involved. The course also encourages you to reflect on your own negotiating style and develop skills that are relevant in a wide range of professional settings, including marketing, sales, purchasing, leadership, project management and international business relationships. By the end of the course, you will have gained valuable insights into how effective negotiation can contribute to sustainable partnerships and long-term success in a global business environment.
