If you are looking to work globally in the world’s largest industry – Tourism – then International Tourism Management is the programme for you. The tourism industry is growing both in Sweden and internationally and new fields of work within, for instance, events, experiences and destination management continue to create new career opportunities and possibilities. This programme is taught fully in English on campus Kalmar. The International Tourism Management provides you with deep analytical skills and prepares you for a true international phenomenon: Tourism. Through courses and a learning environment that inspire you to acquire knowledge about the environmental, social, cultural, and economic effects of tourism, you will gain insight into activities and organisations in the tourism industry. Topical focus on hospitality management, event management, destination management, and entrepreneurship in tourism are combined with business courses in e-commerce and marketing. This prepares you for a career in international tourism and marketing. Throughout the programme, there is a natural international perspective and sustainable development is a specialty and also addressing ethnic diversity. You will acquire unique subject-specific skills through study trips, guest lectures, and internship opportunities.

General entry requirements You also need: Mathematics 2a alt. Mathematics 2b alt. Mathematics 2c, Civics 1b alt. Civics 1a1 +1a2, and English 6. Or: Mathematics level 2a or level 2b or level 2c. Civics level 1b or level 1a1+1a2 and English level 2.
