In this course the students develop their knowledge of German fiction, as well as German language and cultural history. The students read and discuss classic German literature from the 18th to the 20th centuries. The course also includes an introduction to literary terminology and methods. Die Studierenden erwerben grundlegende Kenntnisse über die neuere und neueste deutschsprachige Literatur seit dem 18. Jahrhundert bis zur Gegenwart. Die Studierenden erarbeiten sich grundlegende theoretisch-methodische Kenntnisse und Kompetenzen im Bereich Literaturwissenschaft und Literaturanalyse.
