This course provides a comprehensive exploration of scientific theory, research methodology, and research ethics, with a particular emphasis on understanding and avoiding plagiarism. It covers the skills required for searching and utilizing references effectively. Students will learn the art of writing scientific articles and reports, designing experiments, and applying engineering principles in experimental work. This course includes planning and writing scientific research proposals, such as theses or funding applications, alongside opportunities for reviewing and providing constructive feedback. Students will engage in seminars that emphasize the development of their oral presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree of at least 180 credits in main field of study, Forest and Wood Engineering or Forest Sciences or equivalent. English 6 or equivalent.
