Kursen ger kunskap om kvantitativa statistiska metoder. Vi arbetar såväl med manuella som datorstödda beräkningar för att förstå hur empiriska material, t ex insamlade via enkäter, kan bearbetas. Med fokus på pedagogisk forskning reflekterar vi också över val av metod utifrån olika vetenskapsteoretiska utgångspunkter.

Entry requirements

General entry requirements for second-cycle studies and specific entry requirements as follows: 90 credits in the main field of study Pedagogics or an equivalent main field, including an independent project comprising at least 15 credits. Alternatively, a Bachelor or Master of Arts in Education/Bachelor of Education in Child and Youth Education with a specialisation as recreation instructor, including a degree project. Swedish B/Swedish 3 and English B/English 6. Or: Swedish level 3, English level 2 or the equivalent.
