Centralt i kursen är hur socialt arbete som vetenskaplig disciplin kan förstås. De studerande ges möjligheter att diskutera och problematisera disciplinens utveckling och dess konflikter. Här ingår bland annat att läsa doktorsavhandlingar om socialt arbete samt att reflektera över vilken relation disciplinen har till politik och statlig styrning.

Entry requirements

165 higher education credits of which completed methodology course at the first cycle/G2 level in social work or equivalent social scientific/behavioural scientific studies.
