The course covers the following topics: Introduction to security and key concepts of information security Principles of information security management Governance and strategic planning for security Information security policy Discussion on security program in organizations and Risk management Security management practices and planning for contingencies including security maintenance The distance version is given live online during working hours i.e. you need to be available during certain working hours. Teaching consists of lectures, seminars and assignments. Assignments are performed as individual and group work.

Entry requirements

Bachelor degree in Informatics or equivalent.
