The course provides an introduction to hydrometallurgical principles, where students learn about aqueous systems in hydrometallurgical metal extraction. Some aspects of environmental considerations for sustainable metal recovery are also included .

Entry requirements

180 credits in science/technology, including a basic course in chemistry of 7.5 credits (e.g. Chemical Principles, K0016K). Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English 6/level 2 or equivalent real competence gained through practical experience.
