The course deals with mathematical models for problems in management and control of systems of people, machines, materials and capital in both industry and the public sector. Emphasis is placed on supply chains, distribution and transport planning.

Entry requirements

Completed courses of at least 120 ECTS, with at least the grade Pass. This must include the following courses: Mathematical Statistics (S0001M) 7,5 ECTS, Programming and Digitalisation (D0028E) 7,5 ECTS, Industrial logistics (K0020N) 7,5 ECTS, Applied data analysis for engineers (K0021N) 7,5 ECTS, Differential calculus (M0047M) 7,5 ECTS, Linear Algebra and Integral Calculus (M0048M) 7,5 ECTS, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations (M0049M) 7,5 ECTS, Multivariable calculus (M0055M) 7,5 ECTS, Operations management and strategy (K0019N) 7,5 ECTS, or equivalent knowledge. Passed in Swedish and English corresponding to the general entry requirements for first cycle studies.
