<p>The development of artificial intelligence affects how we analyse information, make decisions, and design technical systems. This course provides an introduction to central methods and subdomains within AI. </p><p>The course provides an introduction to several central subdomains of artificial intelligence and an orientation about fundamental methods within the area. The aim is to provide both breadth and depth, as well as an understanding of how different approaches within AI are related. </p><p>You will encounter theories and methods from areas such as intelligent agents, heuristic search, knowledge representation and machine learning, and how these are used to model and analyse problems. The course also covers probabilistic reasoning, natural language processing, and other central parts of AI. </p><p>At the same time, the course addresses the ethical and societal consequences of AI-based technology and gives you the ability to critically judge the use of AI in different contexts. </p><p> </p><p> </p>

Entry requirements

90 credits, of which completed course corresponding to EDAA01 or TFRD49 or FRTF25. English 6.
