<p>How can music help create a more engaged and inclusive society? This course will equip you with the knowledge, skills and practical tools to develop and lead projects that make a positive difference, while exploring the role of music as a catalyst for social change.</p><p>You will explore the concept of artistic citizenship in music and consider how musical practice can contribute to participation, democracy and social change. Alongside this, you will develop practical skills in project management and entrepreneurship.</p><p>Throughout the course, you will learn how to plan, develop and communicate music projects with a focus on social engagement and cultural participation. You will also examine questions of ethics and responsibility in artistic practice and consider your work in relation to European education initiatives and cultural frameworks.</p><p>This course is ideal for anyone who wants to explore how music and artistic practice can be used to address societal challenges, foster participation and create new opportunities for people to engage with cultural life.</p>
General and specific entry requirements: 7.5 higher credits completed in a musician and/or music teacher programme or equivalent.
