<p>BIOR98</p><p>On completion of the course, the students shall:</p> <p>- be familiar with basic pharmacological concepts</p> <p>- be able to explain the mechanisms of action for the most common groups of drugs</p> <p>- be able to explain the pathobiological basis for the use of the most common groups of drugs</p> <p>- have theoretical and practical orientation of pharmacological and animal experimental technique</p> <p>- have been trained in identifying and wording pharmacological tasks and in connection to that problem solving, evaluation of results and reporting</p> <p>- be able to interpret and communicate experimental results</p> <p>- be informed about regulatory and economically conditions concerning drug development</p>
For admission to the course, 120 credits of scientific studies including knowledge corresponding to BIOA10 Cell and Microbiology 15 credits, BIOA11 Genetics and Evolution 15 credits, BIOC01 Human Physiology 15 credits/Human and Animal Physiology 15 credits, MOBA03 Molecular Biology 15 credits and chemistry 15 credits, as well as English 6, are required.
