<p>This is an elective course in the Master's programme in Biomedicine. Explore the molecular mechanisms behind tumour development in this course. Learn how normal cells transform, uncover the complexity of tumours as organs, and discover the latest strategies for diagnosis and treatment. </p><p>Discover the molecular mechanisms behind tumour development. You will learn how normal cells transform into tumour cells and explore tumours as complex organs made up of different cell types. The course also covers key aspects of diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment strategies, as well as the tools that drive future research. Linked to current studies, it uses textbooks and original research literature.</p>
To be admitted to course, students must have at least 120 first or second-cycle credits in science subjects, including at least 15 credits in cell biology, 15 credits in biochemistry, 15 credits in pathobiology/pharmacology/toxicology/molecular medicine, and 7.5 credits in physiology.
