How can we understand and predict how much energy a building will use? In this course, you will work with building performance simulations to analyse how different factors affect a building’s energy use and indoor environment.

Building simulations are an important tool in the design process for energy-efficient buildings. They allow you to analyze and predict a building’s energy consumption and indoor climate. This provides a better basis for decisions in the design process and can help reduce energy consumption while maintaining a comfortable indoor environment.

The course provides an introduction to building simulation tools (Building Performance Simulation, BPS) and their role in the design of energy-efficient buildings.

90 credits and a completed course of 3 ECTS in building technology or building physics corresponding to LTH's course VBMA10. English 6/English level 2.
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
