<p>Examensarbete om 15 hp för dig som ska ta ut en naturvetenskaplig kandidatexamen i miljövetenskap.</p><p>Kursen utgörs av ett självständigt vetenskapligt arbete. Examensarbetets inriktning och upplägg bestäms i samråd med examinator och handledaren. Du ska under viss handledning självständigt genomföra arbetet, vilket inkluderar informationssökning, sammanställning, analys och utvärdering av erhållna resultat.</p> <p>Examination sker genom skriftlig redovisning i form av en uppsats kompletterad med en sammanfattning på engelska (abstract), en populärvetenskaplig sammanfattning samt en skriftlig opponering på annan students arbete. Muntlig redovisning och opponering sker i seminarieform.</p>

Entry requirements

To be admitted to the course, 75 credits in Environmental Science are required, including studies equivalent to MVEA10 Environmental Science: Basic Course, 15 credits, MVEC18 Environmental Science: Law in Environmental Studies, 15 credits, MVEC20 Environmental Science: Industrial Environmental Economics, 15 credits, or MVEB15 Environmental Science: Governing the Environment, 15 credits. In addition, students must have completed KEMA20 Chemistry: General Chemistry, 15 credits, and three of the following courses: GEOA82 Geology: Earth, Water and the Environment, 15 credits, FYSA25 Physics: Environmental Physics, 15 credits, BIOA10 Biology: Cell and Microbiology, 15 credits, and BIOC10 Biology: Ecology, 15 credits. Knowledge acquired in a different way but equivalent to these entry requirements may also qualify to be admitted to the course.
