<p>Would you like to deepen your understanding of artistic research? You’ll develop your own research ideas and learn how to communicate them through written, musical, or audiovisual formats. </p><p>Throughout the course, you will engage with methods, projects, and theories from the field of artistic research. You will work on identifying and formulating research questions based on your own musical practise, and learn how to position your ideas in relation to current research. You will practise presenting your ideas in various forms - written, musical, or audiovisual - and explore how these relate to ongoing discussions in the field. </p><p>Through lectures, workshops, and seminars, you will strengthen your ability to reflect on artistic work from critical, societal, and ethical perspectives. The course is based on active participation and collaborative knowledge-building. Together with fellow students and teachers, you will explore new ways of thinking about music, art, and knowledge. </p><p>This is an advanced-level course and is intended for students with a bachelor’s degree in music or a related artistic field. It runs over one semester. </p>
