<p>Would you like to learn how to write academic texts in Japanese? In this course, you will develop your writing skills and learn to use the expressions and conventions commonly found in academic contexts in Japan.</p><h3>Academic Writing in Japanese</h3><p>This course provides an introduction to academic writing in Japanese. You will learn common expressions and language patterns used in academic texts and practise using them accurately and appropriately.<br/>You will develop your ability to adapt language and style to different contexts and gain an understanding of how word choice and phrasing can influence how a text is perceived. The course also explores differences between writing conventions in Japanese, Swedish and English, helping you gain a broader understanding of academic communication across languages.<br/></p><h3>Language, Style and Text</h3><p>Through practical writing exercises, you will practise selecting appropriate expressions and structuring academic texts in Japanese. You will also reflect on how language is used and interpreted in different social contexts in Japan.<br/><br/></p>

Entry requirements

120 credits in Japanese and English 6/English Level 2.
