<p>Do you want to understand how body movements and gestures are used in communication? This course provides an exciting insight into how we use the body to communicate, both with gestures and sign language.</p><p>The course focuses on how body movements, such as gestures and signed language, play an important role in human communication. You will learn about research on the significance of the body for the form and function of language, and why this is relevant for language studies.<br/></p>

Entry requirements

either a) 60 ECTS from any language subject or linguistics, or b) both 60 ECTS in psychology or cognitive science and 30 ECTS in linguistics, or c) equivalent qualifications. Foreign students are exempt from Swedish language qualifications.
