<p>How are identity, belonging, and power shaped by today’s culture? In this course, you explore contemporary Spanish-language literature and film and gain tools to understand the world in new ways.</p><p>This course gives you in-depth knowledge of Spanish-language culture from the 21st century, with a focus on issues of gender and class. You will work with literature and film and learn to analyse how identity, experiences, and relationships are shaped by social and cultural contexts.<br/></p><p>You will also build a strong foundation in literary and cultural theory, especially intersectional perspectives. Throughout the course, you will develop your ability to interpret and discuss cultural expressions as well as your understanding of how they relate to power structures, social conditions, and societal norms.<br/></p>
Bachelor's degree project in literary studies, film studies or a language subject with a focus on literary studies or film studies, as well as English 6/English Level 2.
