<p>Are you fascinated by Russian modernism and its influence on literature and art? Do you want to delve into this exciting period from the Silver Age to the avant-garde? </p><p>This course offers an in-depth exploration of Russian modernism between 1890 and 1928. You will study key literary works and their connections to religious, ideological, and political aspects.</p><p>The course is divided into two modules:</p><ul><li>Module 1: Russian Symbolism (1892-1910), 7.5 credits</li><li>Module 2: Russian Futurism (1910-1928), 7.5 credits</li></ul><p>The course is part of the Master's programme in Literature - Culture - Media, but can also be taken as a standalone course.</p>
At least 90 credits in Russian and/or Comparative Literature (i.e. 90 credits in a combination of these subjects) or the equivalent.
