<p>Society never stands still. New technologies, environmental challenges, and social divides affect how we live and interact. This programme gives you the knowledge and skills to understand these changes and work towards solutions. </p><p>Understanding society means looking at it from different angles. This programme combines theory, research methods, and practical skills to help you analyse complex social issues. You will start with core themes, then tailor your studies with electives, methods, and even an internship or study abroad. </p><p>The programme focuses on understanding the forces that shape modern societies. You will explore themes such as knowledge and beliefs, climate and sustainability, social inequality, and digital life. Alongside these topics, you will develop strong analytical and research skills that prepare you for advanced studies or professional roles in a range of sectors. </p>

Entry requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with social sciences as the main field of study, including at least 60 credits in Sociology. Oral and written English language proficiency equivalent to English 6 from Swedish upper-secondary school is a requirement.
