<p>Malmö Academy of Music is a leading educational institution specialised in musical studies, training, and research. With a clear international profile, we move art forward - always with the passion for music and learning at our core.</p><p>The Master's Programme in Music with a specialisation in classical singing is a two-year full-time university programme aimed at students who want to develop as a singer in Western art music or Vocal studies.</p> <p>During your studies, you will learn to shape and hone your technical and artistic ability, both as a soloist and in ensembles together with other singers and instrumentalists. Great emphasis is placed on the development of your stage presence and overall ability to shape your performance. You also get the opportunity to perform in front of various audiences, an experience which gives you a solid foundation as well as an edge to your artistry. </p> <h3>Admission</h3> <p>You can apply for this programme via www.universityadmissions.se or www.antagning.se during the period 2 December 2024 - 15 January 2025. </p> <p>Admission to our programmes requires you to audition at the Malmö Academy of Music. General requirements for university studies in Sweden as well as a Bachelor in Music 180 credits or equivalent and successful entrance tests to the Master’s Programme in Music. Exceptions can be made from the basic eligibility requirement of proficiency in Swedish for international students.
