<p>Further develop and deepen your artistic identity. The Master's Programme in Fine Art is tailored to you and your artistic practice. Through a mix of theoretical courses and practical work, you will be trained in independence, critical reflection and professional presentation.</p><p>The programme builds on your artistic practice and gives you the opportunity to develop an independent and professional artistic career. The teaching is characterised by the Malmö Art Academy's’ feminist and experimental pedagogy. The pedagogy advocates for a horizontal relationship between students and teachers. This is expressed, among other things, through studio visits that you as a student manage. The discussions are based on where you are in your process. </p><p>You can move freely between different artistic expressions or immerse yourself in a specific technique, with individual guidance from active artists and professors. </p><p>The programme combines individual artistic work with elective courses in embodiment, technique, art history and theory. You will be trained to reflect on, formulate and design your own projects. You will also gain experience of professional presentation through a solo exhibition and an oral presentation. There you will show and discuss your work with an audience and experts. The focus is on creative text work, critical reflection and your ability to work independently as an artist. </p><p>The programme has a distinct international character. Lectures and collaborations with visiting artists, curators and researchers from around the world are part of everyday life at the school, and we also have exchange agreements with art schools in many different countries. </p>

Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent.
