<p>Design is a creative and intellectual activity. It questions, shapes and visualises objects, systems and interactions. This programme gives you a platform to further develop your own skill set and design philosophy, and shape your future role within the design profession.</p><p>The discipline of design is firmly embedded into cultural frameworks. Today, almost any issue can become the subject of design processes. Through in-depth studies within artistic, sociological and technological contexts and theories, this master's programme broadens your creative and intellectual perspectives. </p><p>You build on previously acquired knowledge to plan, visualise and implement concepts and strategies for new products and services. </p><p>As a designer, you will be responsible for conceiving of and ultimately making systems work. By organising exhibitions and taking part in seminars and workshops, you communicate your work, participate in the public debate and contribute to advancing the field of design at large. </p><p>Lund University School of Industrial Design (LUSID) is organised within LTH, Lunds Tekniska Högskola (The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University) and offers an academic journey from undergraduate to PhD. LUSID offers a creative environment coupled with well-equipped facilities. The combination of being part of a full faculty university and engaging with external stakeholders supports cross-disciplinary approaches and professional interaction.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>

Entry requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with relevance to the applied education. A digital portfolio of the applicant’s own work in the field that clearly proves that the applicant has good potential to benefit from the programme. English 6
